▫️ Al-Kuwari: We thank everyone who contributed to the happiness of these children
The Qatar Players Association participated in the Orphan’s Day Festival organized by Qatar Charity, where Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Kuwari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Ghanim, Vice-President of the Association, attended, as well as a number of international players such as Ahmed Alaa, Abdul Karim Hassan and Hammam Al-Amin, in addition to the participation of a number of former players. The likes of Fahid Al-Shamri, Mishaal Mubarak, Bilal Muhammad, and the former international referee Sultan Al-Sufyani, who managed the friendly matches between the teams.
For his part, Abdul Rahman Al-Kuwari, the president of the association, expressed his great happiness at participating in this event, which brought joy to the faces of orphans, praising the great role played by the former and current players, and thanking all of the first team players “Ahmed Alaa, Abdul Karim Hassan and Hammam Al-Amin” and the former players. “Fhaid Al-Shammari, Bilal Muhammad and Mishaal Mubarak” and the referee Sultan Al-Sufyani. He also thanked the national team for giving the players the opportunity to participate in this festival despite the players being occupied with an internal camp. He thanked Muhammad Salem Al-Atwi, the manager of our first team, and Turki Al-Kaabi, the team’s administrator.
He also thanked Qatar Charity Foundation and Mr. Faisal Rashid Al-Fahida, Assistant CEO of the Programs and Community Development Sector, for honoring the association during the Orphan’s Day event.
Al-Kuwari pointed out that the association’s participation in such an event is the required role of the association and football players in community participation, in order to contribute to the Qatari society in a large way to the happiness of these children, stressing that the association is always keen to play a societal role through the participation of players who are considered A great role model for many children, hoping to continue her role continuously in the future to achieve the desired goal.
